Student Learning Information
The curriculum will consist of mutala’ah, muzaakarah and tadrees. These are the fundamental aspects of the manhaj. Muzaakarah and mutala’ah is a fundamental aspect of takhassuss. Students are required to do research on important topics in the field.
In addition to the above:
1.1)Muzaakarah to be done daily for at least 30 mins,2 students per day.
1.2) All material to be done as mutala’ah will have to be recorded and summarized notes presented to the ustaadh in the muzaakarah session.
Assignments and Research papers
The student will have to write one thesis on any module after each level comprising of 50 or more pages
Kindly note that selected books will be based on mutala’ah entirely while others may be divided into mutala’ah and muzaakarah.
Mutālaah: Students are required to read and provide a summary for the following books:
1. Al-Manhaj al-Hadīth Fī Tashīl Ulūm al-Hadīth (Sheikh Nāyif al-Biqāī)
2. Takhrīj al-Hadīth al-Sharīf (Sheikh Nāyif al-Biqāī)
3. Dirāsatu Asānīd al-Hadīth al-Sharīf(Sheikh Nāyif al-Biqāī)
The student is required to adhere to all the regulations, policies and rules of the Department in addition to those of the Darul Iftaa.
You will be given a copy of these policies and rules upon admission to the faculty.
In addition to the above, every student is required to observe the highest standards of academic integrity and honesty.
Admission and Selection Criteria
Prospective students are to apply with the departmental head for admission into the faculty.
General Admission procedures should be followed.
Prospective Applicants are required to submit a motivation letter to the Admissions Office.
